Multidisciplinary Foundations
Between 2001 and 2016, I worked across a range of design and production roles spanning mobile, interactive, and video. These projects shaped my multidisciplinary approach, combining product design, motion, and storytelling.
Albelli Mobile
Albelli’s mobile app for iOS and Android was designed with one clear goal make creating a photo book feel effortless. Focused on usability and conversion, the app lets users intuitively assemble their own photo books straight from their smartphones, with an experience that feels smooth, modern, and personal.
Lifelines
For the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), I designed an interactive data visualization for the Lifelines study one of Europe’s largest long-term research projects into genetics and environment. The visualization made complex health data accessible and engaging, turning scientific insights into an intuitive, human story.
Mercedes-AMG Mobile App
I designed the mobile app experience for Mercedes-AMG, bringing the brand’s performance and luxury identity to iOS and Android. The app focused on connecting AMG owners with their vehicles, providing access to vehicle information, service scheduling, and exclusive content. The design balanced the brand’s premium aesthetic with intuitive functionality, creating an experience that felt as refined as the cars themselves.
Dutch Public Broadcast Mobile Apps
I worked on mobile applications for the Dutch public broadcast stations, designing experiences that made television and radio content accessible on smartphones and tablets. These apps needed to serve diverse audiences while maintaining the distinct identity of each broadcaster. The challenge was creating intuitive navigation for live streams, on-demand content, and program guides making public broadcasting feel modern and accessible in the mobile era.
Philips Tango Démasqué
Commissioned by Philips’ up-market flat TV business unit, Tango Démasqué was produced by WEBER Creatives to demonstrate the expressive range of the Philips Aurea Ambilight series. The short film used dance, light, and contrast to capture emotion and innovation and went on to win international recognition at the New York Festivals.
Additional Video Productions for Philips
Alongside Tango Démasqué, I contributed to several other Philips productions, including campaigns for the Philips Home Theater System and annual chipset launch videos. Each project explored how motion and design could enhance storytelling and communicate innovation through experience.
